Expert: Visit Nice as part of holiday in south of France
The coastal city of Nice has been highlighted as a place people on holiday in the south of France are likely to enjoy spending some time.
A report by the Telegraph earmarks the resort as one that can transform the winter blues felt by people in the UK into sunshine and relaxation.
Offering a potential itinerary for those who travel to the region, the newspaper suggests heading to the Old Town to see the historic, winding streets of ancient Nice.
This area is home to a bustling and vibrant community, with bars, restaurants and shops ensuring there is no lack of fun to be had.
Also worth plenty of a tourist's time is the promenade and beach area, with local fisherman hard at work alongside sun-seekers from across the continent.
Earlier this week, the Birmingham Mail described the south of France as the perfume capital of the world, noting people can buy and make their own fragrance in the country.
