Experience the buzz of Cannes on a south of France holiday
People planning south of France villa holidays in May will have the opportunity to visit Cannes as it plays host to some of the world's most famous people.
The 2010 Cannes Film Festival, which is the biggest and most famous event of its kind in the world, will take place between May 12th and 23rd.
Cannes is one of the most eagerly awaited fixtures on the movie industry's calendar, with new films by famous directors regularly being premiered at the festival.
It also provides a platform for up-and-coming artists to showcase their work to a wider audience.
Holiday makers taking south of France villa breaks can visit Cannes to experience the unique buzz that surrounds the festival and mingle with some of the glamorous types who will be attending.
While much of the programme is arranged on an invitation-only basis, the city hosts daily screenings on Mace beach and other events that are open to the public.
