Exciting light festival coming to south of France

People snapping up villas in the south of France have the chance to experience two exciting events if they base their stay around December and January.

Families who are opting to visit the town of Saint-Raphael over the winter can see the resort splashed in illumination.

That is because the south of France destination welcomes Fete de la Lumiere over the festive period.

Defined in English as the Light Festival, the attraction sees buildings and tourism sites across Saint-Raphael decorated in an array of colour.

Free theatre performances and cultural events also come to the south of France town to provide further entertainment for guests.

Time should also be taken out by tourists so that they can visit Marseille if they are holidaying in France in January.

During the month, the GMEM - Centre national de creation musicale will be hosting the Trans-Electroacoustic Festival.

Opportunities to experience unique acoustic and electronic tunes are available for attendees to enjoy, as well as performances which showcase both styles together.
