Events to pick out when visiting Nice

Nice has plenty of activities going on over the summer and early autumn, which could convince families to book up stays in south of France villas near to the city.

Starting off the attractions next month is Prom'Party, a selection of music concerts that will be held at the Theatre de la Verdure.

The free event is sure to delight all fans of music, as each night brings with it a new sound to hum along and dance to.

People who fancy a more Latino touch to their visit to Nice should be sure to travel to the French city in August.

This is because the resort will be presenting the Cote d'Azur Tango Festival, which comes complete with a host of stars from across the world presenting a dazzling mixture of Latin footwork in many of the city's dance halls.

People staying in villas in the south of France in September, meanwhile, should not miss the San Bertoumieu Fete.

Tourists who head down to Old Nice when the event takes place will be able to view a host of artisans, winegrowers and food producers showing off their work.
