Elton John jets off on South of France holiday

Elton John is no stranger to St Tropez and now the singer has decided to take another South of France holiday in the resort.

He has joined a host of other celebrities who have spent time in the Cote d'Azur favourite recently, including Kate Moss and Jack Nicholson.

According to the Mirror, Elton's partner David Furnish has been in the luxury resort since last month.

Now that he has finished his shows in Las Vegas, the 62-year-old showman has flown to St Tropez to enjoy a relaxing break.

The newspaper pictured him jumping off his yacht and heading straight for the beach in his shorts.

Those taking a South of France holiday and hoping to spend a day celebrity spotting in St Tropez could rent a villa in Frejus, which is just a short drive away.

As well as being home to a number of shops and restaurants, the historical town also boasts some interesting Roman ruins, including an impressive amphitheatre.
