Check out the Worldwide Festival on a south of France villa holiday

People taking south of France villa holidays this year will have the opportunity to enjoy some live music at the next outing of the Worldwide Festival.

The event will come to the port and seaside resort of Sete in the Languedoc-Roussillon region from July 8th to 11th.

Arranged by DJ and music producer Gilles Peterson, the festival will take place in three outdoor venues in Sete - St Christ in Phare du Mole, ACD Plage on Promenade du Lido and Theatre de la Mer on Route de la Corniche.

Holiday makers staying in Languedoc villas will be able to visit these venues to see performances by figures including celebrated jazz artist Gil Scott-Heron.

Peterson himself will also be playing at the festival, along with Norman Jay, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Flying Lotus and several other artists.

People who visit the Languedoc-Roussillon region during a south of France villa holiday can explore a number of large cities, such as Montpellier, Nimes and Perpignan, as well as towns and villages like Rennes le Chateau and Vernet-les-Baines.
