Check out some jazz on a south of France holiday

Music fans planning a south of France villa holiday in May will have the opportunity to enjoy some live entertainment at the Luberon Jazz Festival.

The event will be celebrating its 20th anniversary when it returns between May 10th and 16th this year.

Luberon is a mountainous area located in the heart of Provence that is famous for its scenic villages, historical associations and picturesque outdoor locations.

It has hosted a celebration of jazz every year since 1991 and will host a number of special events this year to mark the festival's 20th anniversary.

Thousands of visitors are expected to visit the region to enjoy performances by the likes of the Kempachy Quartet, Musica Nuda, Radiation 10 and the Ray Anderson Pocket Brass Band.

Performances will be staged at various locations, including venues in the towns of Apt and Gargas.

Travellers planning to explore Luberon during a Provence villa holiday can visit several other quaint villages and communities in the region, including Gordes and Roussillon.
