Polo fans may wish to secure a villa in the south of France immediately after learning one of the sport's premier events is heading to the region early next year.
The Polo Masters Tour will take in Val d'Isere from January 11th to 14th – and those on holiday in the area could be in pole position to take in some of the action.
It is the third successive year the French town has been included on the tour's schedule, with the world's finest players set to take part.
And perhaps the best news of all for holiday makers is that the resort's tourist board has promised it will "party in style" for the duration of the tour's stay.
Attendees are invited to enjoy a glass of Vin Chaud or Chocolat Chaud while they watch the top-class polo.
Atout France this week announced the ski season in the Les 2 Alpes region gets underway tomorrow (November 27th) and lasts for five months, giving those staying in villas in the south of France another activity to enjoy.
