People searching for adventure on a South of France villa holiday may wish to try their hand at wild boar hunting.

The Les Jardins de Saint Benoit village in the Languedoc region gives travellers the opportunity to join in the traditional French past time - a unique expedition for those keen on trying something different.

Languedoc is the world's largest single wine-producing area, renowned for its acres of lush vineyards, miles of sandy coastline and charming villages.

It is the perfect region for those wanting to experience a taste of local French culture and charm, and anyone who ventures down the coast will find a number of traditional fishing ports - such as Collioure, where Picasso spent many of his days painting.
