Bmi introduces new routes to south of France villas

Holiday makers will soon be able to have more opportunities to jet off on getaways to south of France villas, courtesy of British Midland International (Bmi).

The airline has revealed that it is to open a route between Heathrow airport and Nice, providing Brits with a luxury French destination to soak up the sun's rays.

Launching on August 25th, the flights will operate on a daily routine initially, before increasing to a twice daily pattern from October 30th.

It is one of two destinations being opened up by Bmi from Heathrow airport, with routes to the south-west Moroccan resort of Agadir also being introduced.

Recently, Jessika Bettan, marketing attache at the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Nice, advised Brits on why they should snap up villas in the south of France near to Nice.

She explained that the colourful display of the resort's Old Town "really brings everything to life", while Castle Hill presents tourists with "a beautiful view" over many parts of the destination.
