Biarritz villa 'offers sun holiday in December'
Individuals seeking respite from the current freezing weather and snow could consider heading for Biarritz.
This is according to an article on France 24, which suggests the cold snap has failed to touch the south of France.
Writer Nicholas Rushworth notes that while Parisians are freezing, those at the bottom of the country are heading for the beach, with the newspapers reflecting this weather divide.
Britons may, therefore, wish to head for a holiday in the south of France, with the temperature in Biarritz reaching 18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday (December 11th), while many parts of the UK continue to experience sub zero conditions.
In related news, a visit to the Cathedrale D'Images has been recommended by the Gladstone Observer for those staying in a villa in the south of France, as the attraction in a former bauxite mine features huge images projected onto walls, floors and ceilings to provide a unique visual experience.
