Apple iPhone may be invaluable on south of France holiday
Britons planning a holiday in the south of France may find taking an Apple iPhone with them is a wise move if they are planning to visit local ski slopes.
Those who do so will be in a position to access the Ski Club of Great Britain's official app, which offers a plethora of useful information.
The organisation has taken the opportunity to remind users of just how vital its tool can be, as it provides live weather details and resort information.
Lucy Jennings, new media manager at the ski club, says: "This cutting edge service will be invaluable to iPhone users who are passionate about snowsports. It is so quick and easy to use."
In total, the app provides data on more than 250 spots around the French Alps, including the depth of snow.
Ex-England cricketer Michael Vaughan recently told the Daily Telegraph one of his pleasures in life is taking a skiing holiday in the south of France.
