Appeal of south of France villas in Nice
People who are looking to occupy villas in the south of France have been advised on a visit to Nice.
Some of the appeal of this French city includes the fact that it was independent until as recently as 1860, has an individual character and even boasts its own language, noted Jessika Bettan, marketing attache at the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Nice.
She advised that Brits who have never travelled to Nice before should be sure to seek out its Old Town.
"The Old Town with the little narrow streets, the houses are all painted yellow and red, and with the sunlight shining, it really brings everything to life," Ms Bettan acknowledged.
Castle Hill is another part of Nice to visit, the expert went on to say, as it adds green scenery to the city, as well as offers "a beautiful view" across the location itself.
More Brits will be able to stay in south of France villas near to Nice this summer, thanks to British Airways doubling the number of daily flights from London City Airport to the city until September.
