Visit Menorca and one of the world's largest natural harbours

According to What's on When, Menorca is "the Spanish Balearics' shy little sister" and its capital Mahon gives people the chance to stroll around and soak up the sunshine while enjoying the culture of the island.

The port town of Mahon "sits on a cliff around a long, narrow inlet in the south-east of the island" and the website describes it as being an "elegant" place with one of the largest natural harbours in the world.

Visitors may also want to soak up the atmosphere in one of the water front restaurants and admire the view while they sample some of the local food and drink.

After taking in the sights of Mahon, tourists will find that there are plenty of villas near the town which they can hire to retire to after a soak-soaked day.
