Villas in Menorca: Safe and secure accommodation 'essential for tourists'
Safe and secure accommodation is the most sought after consideration for holiday makers from the UK, those booking up Menorca villas for a relaxing getaway may be interested to hear.
According to a new study by ABTA, 86 per cent of respondents see protected living conditions as an essential element for their getaway.
Forming part of the organisation's Consumers Trends Survey, this consideration received more votes than a financial protection scheme (79 per cent) and ease of transport connections (63 per cent).
Furthermore, despite the current economic situation, only 53 per cent of British holiday makers see the lowest prices as an important element when booking a trip abroad.
Mark Tanzer, the chief executive of ABTA, commented: "Even in a year when customers are tightening their belts the lowest cost is not their number one consideration."
A stay in Menorca villas presents families or any budget with plenty of exciting sights to explore, such as a venture to the peak of Mount Toro – the highest point of the Spanish island – or a trip to the Cala Forcat's thrill-seeking Aqua Park.
