Try scuba diving on a Menorca villa holiday
People planning to try some adventurous activities during a Menorca villa holiday this year might be interested in going scuba diving.
The Spanish Tourist Office pointed out that the Balearic Islands have been a highly popular destination for this underwater pursuit for many years.
Summer is the best time to go diving, with the warm, Mediterranean waters offering visibility of up to 30 metres.
Holiday makers who embark on a submarine adventure during a Menorca villa break can look out for numerous different species of fish, as well as caves, coral reefs and other natural phenomena that form part of the seabed.
Menorca and Mallorca are home to several diving schools and centres that offer equipment hire and classes for people of all abilities.
Watersports are a highly popular pastime on the islands, with regular regattas taking place at locations such as Ciutadella, Mahon and Palma.
Guests staying in Menorca villas can hire boats to go on their very own sailing trip, or possibly try waterskiing, windsurfing or fishing.
