Take a Menorca holiday to enjoy some live music
Menorca villa holidays could prove popular among music lovers this summer, with a series of live shows set to be performed on the island.
A number of concerts will be staged as part of the 38th Summer Music Festival in Ciutadella, which began on July 9th and will continue until August 23rd.
Holiday makers staying in Menorca villas can see performances by groups such as the Faure Quartet, a collective that comprises Erika Geldsetzer, Sascha Frombling, Konstantin Heidrich and Dirk Mommertz.
The four musicians will visit the Claustre del Seminari venue on August 2nd to perform pieces by Brahms, Mendelssohn and Mahler.
Renowned violinist Gordan Nikolic will join the Menorca Chamber Orchestra at Esglesia del Socors on August 9th.
Audiences at this concert will be treated to renditions of well-known works by Beethoven and Mendelssohn.
The Ciutadella Summer Music Festival will end with a performance by soprano singer Ainhoa Arteta and pianist Ruben Fernandez on August 16th, followed by a show by piano player Alessio Bax a week later.
