TV personality recommends Menorca holidays
People looking for a destination to visit this year might be interested to hear that Menorca holidays have been recommended by a popular television personality.
Farmer and presenter Jimmy Doherty told the Telegraph that spending some time on the Balearic island is one of his favourite leisure activities.
He revealed that he and his wife had "spent some relaxed weekends there".
Asked by the newspaper to describe his perfect weekend, Doherty also revealed that he enjoys having barbecues on his farm and going fishing.
People planning to follow in the presenter's footsteps by taking a Menorca holiday this year can rent villas in Binibeca, Mahon and other popular locations on the island.
Menorca is the second largest island in the Balearics after Mallorca and is often considered the most tranquil destination in the archipelago.
Visitors will have plenty of opportunities to relax on the beach during their stay, while those planning to do some exploring can visit attractions such as Monte Toro near Es Mercadal or take a boat trip along the coast.
