Menorca villas: Appeal of pre-paid money cards

People who are jetting off to villas in Menorca this summer may benefit by carrying their spending money via a pre-paid money card.

David Bain, spokesperson for FairFX, believes that this form of plastic has a list of appealing features to help holiday makers.

These include the facts that "it is safer, more secure and it locks in the current exchange rates and you can get outstanding value", Mr Bain acknowledged.

He went on to note that putting additional funds onto a card is a simple process too, which aids Brits who underestimate their spending while in Menorca villas.

This is because "you use [an] online site, load your travel money card, you lock in great rates and your money is available within a few hours", Mr Bain explained.

Brits will have plenty of places to explore if they opt to take their spending money to Menorca, with the island awash with such fascinating sites as the 18th century Xoriguer Distillery and Mahon's Gothic Sant Francesc Church.
