Menorca villa occupants indulging in souvenirs?

Many Brits who are jetting off abroad for much-needed getaways, such as to luxury Menorca villas, are looking to bring presents back home with them.

According to a study by sunshine.co.uk, 37 per cent intend to carry gifts for friends, family and workmates back in their luggage once a holiday has come to an end.

However, purchasing gifts for personal use looks to be more popular with holiday makers, with 74 per cent admitting to opting to treat themselves as well as loved ones.

Imitation goods were found to be popular by 67 per cent of Brits, the sunshine.co.uk survey has also highlighted, while 11 per cent were unsure whether the items they had brought were authentic or fake.

Chris Brown, co-founder of sunshine.co.uk, urged travellers to be aware of such products though, warning: "People need to bear in mind that in some European countries you can face hefty fines for buying imitation designer items, so it really isn't worth the risk."

It is not just the souvenirs that should attract people to villas in Menorca though, with a TravelBite.co.uk writer recently saying that Brits can "enjoy wonderful sunshine [and] amazing scenery" upon their visit to the island.
