Menorca villa is 'holiday heaven'

Those looking for total holiday heaven should consider renting a Menorca villa in the small but lively resort of Son Bou.

In an article for In2town lifestyle magazine, Menorca is described as "the quintessential holiday maker's paradise".

Son Bou in particular offers crystal clear waters and the longest beach on the island, with fine white sands stretching for almost three miles.

According to the article, the resort is a great destination for families as there are a number of fun activities for young ones.

The San Jaime complex is home to a maze, children's playgrounds and tennis courts, while the fun train, which runs from the resort along the beach and back again, will also delight youngsters.

Son Bou also boasts a wide variety of bars and restaurants, from beachside cafes serving cocktails and cold beers to local restaurants offering freshly-caught seafood and traditional Menorcan specialities.

In2town also points out that because if its location half way along the south coast, Son Bou is the perfect base from which to explore the island.

Television and radio personality Graeme Garden recently spoke of his love for Menorca in an article for the Telegraph.

He said he likes to rent villas in Son Bou for a truly tranquil break.
