Menorca villa guests offered audio guides
Holiday makers will be able to ensure they get the most out of their Menorca villa breaks this year by using an audio guide.
The products have been put together by the government of the Balearic Islands and are available to owners of mp3 players.
Announcing the new guides, the Menorca tourist board claimed that they can turn a trip to the island into "one great museum visit".
People staying in villas in Binibeca, Punta Prima and other popular locations can use the technology to learn more about local history and customs, as well as folklore and legends.
There are a total of three tours on offer, one of which offers an insight into the stately town of Ciutadella on the western side of the island.
Visitors can also follow a route in Menorca's capital city of Mahon, as well as an archaeology tour that provides an introduction to the island's mysterious talayotic culture.
People planning a Menorca villa holiday this year can download one of the audio guides from the official website of the Balearic Islands' tourist board.
