Menorca is a 'diamond' location

Joan Frosdick, 83, first received correspondence from her future husband in 1946 and she continued writing to him while he was stationed in Germany before the two wed in 1948, the Bexley Times reported.

The romantic couple celebrated 60 years of happy marriage with a trip to the beautiful island of Menorca and others looking for tips on a loving long-term relationship could choose to follow their advice.

Mr Frosdick said: "We just stick together and if we ever argue we cut it short as soon as possible. Life is too short.
