Menorca holidays offer watery fun for kids

Families taking children on Menorca villa holidays to Cala Blanes will find there is plenty to keep kids occupied, including the Los Delfines Aqua Park.

With a wide range of watery attractions, the attraction offers fun for all the family and could make a great day out.

The main slides include the Adventure River - which take riders down a watery slope in double rubber rings - and the Kamikaze.

There are also two water tunnels which snake through a large rock beside the main pool, as well as a dedicated children's area for the little ones.

And it's not all about water at the park, as children can play on bouncy castles, slides and trampolines or spend time in the video game arcade.

Of course the family fun can make holiday makers peckish, so there is a snack bar and a picnic area on site too.

Families renting Menorca villas in Cala Blanes can visit the Los Delfines Aqua Park, which is within walking distance.

The resort is popular among those with children as there are a number of leisure activities on offer, as well as a wide selection of restaurants.

Those hoping to take in some of the island's history can take a drive to the former capital Ciutadella, which is just ten minutes away.
