Menorca holidays 'ideal for family breaks'

Families wondering where to travel on a getaway this year have been told to consider checking out a villa in Menorca.

Travelbite.co.uk believes that the second largest of the Balearic Islands has plenty to offer, with its various eye-catching beaches just the tip of the iceberg.

Its expert also noted that parents will likely have a memorable time if they hire a boat and explore the sea around Menorca.

Children meanwhile are sure to be in for a treat if they were to take a day out at the Los Delfines Aqua Park in Cituadella.

The author concluded: "The quiet, tranquil atmosphere, scenic views and range of activities make it the ideal destination for varied family breaks."

Brits will be further encouraged to visit the destination, when the Menorca – Warm At Heart campaign visits various cities across the UK.

Set up by the Menorca Tourist Board, the scheme hopes to show the diversity of the location to people considering a holiday abroad this year.
