There are a wealth of reasons why families should take up the opportunity to visit Menorca villas this year, with one source listing just some of the many attractions.
Marianna Longmire, travel writer for the Sun, explained that during her visit to the Spanish island, the local residents were preparing for their summer festival season.
One of the highlight events is set to be the Festes de Sant Juan, which is hosted in the destination of Ciutadella and sees "huge crowds gather to watch extraordinary feats of horsemanship every June".
Fans of equine animals may also want to check out the Son Martorellet Stables, located in central Menorca.
This is because the venue offers holiday makers the chance to seek out owners gearing their "Minorquin-breed stallions" up for the festivals ahead.
Some other reasons to visit villas in Menorca include "the quiet, tranquil atmosphere, scenic views and range of activities" on offer within the island, according to an expert at Travelbite.co.uk.
