Get 'bronzed' on a Menorca villa holiday
It has been claimed that Menorca has been inhabited since the beginning of the Bronze Age and proof exists in the village of Trepuco.
Throughout Menorca there are many talayots and taulas, which are prehistoric megaliths that are akin to those found at the the historic monument in Salisbury, according to Whatsonwhen.
The best of these can reportedly be found in Trepuco, just south of the capital city of Mahon.
Another place just south of Mahon is the resort of Binebeca, home to a stunning dune-backed sandy beach.
Binebeca is also home to some interesting man-made buildings of its own, all of which come with a private pool and were built more recently than the Bronze Age - and those who want to go back to Blighty bronzed will find it a relaxing place to soak up the sun.
