Dine with the rich and famous on a Menorca villa holiday
According to the Leader newspaper, the fishing village of Fornells is renowned for its seafood restaurants and attracts a number of well-known visitors.
For example, King of Spain Juan Carlos often dines out in the eateries along the waterfront, enjoying a range of local dishes including lobster stew.
Holiday makers spending time in Fornells could also sample some of the delicious food on offer in the village.
Afterwards, they may want to wander along the harbour, which is home to an old watch tower, and take in the views across the ocean.
A Menorca villa in Arenal d'en Castell could be a good base from which to explore the northern coast of the island.
Fornells is just a short drive from the resort, which site in a horseshoe-shaped bay with a beautiful sandy beach.
