This tiny, picturesque harbour village is located on the north east coast of Meganissi within a sheltered inlet. A low key, laid back atmosphere can be enjoyed here, and the village remains wonderfully traditional. Shops selling local crafts can be found throughout the little streets, whilst a few traditional waterfront tavernas are located along the harbour where you can relax with a meal and watch the fishing boats come and go. Vathi is also popular with visiting yachts, and a new harbour has been recently built a little further round the bay. Ferries to the nearby resort of Spartochori and the island of Lefkas also departs from Vathi. The resort is surrounded by forests of olive and cypress trees, offering plenty of great scenery in which to enjoy relaxing walks. Various rocky and pebble beaches can also be reached within just a short drive.

This unspoilt and tiny island is reached via ferry from the port of Nidri on the nearby island of Lefkas. Guests will fly to Preveza airport on the Greek mainland; you can then collect your hired car at the airport and drive to the port, where you can board the ferry to Meganissi.
