Mellieha in Malta

Mellieha village developed under British colonization after the British encouraged people to settle in the area by giving leases to the population.. The town has retained its historic centre with narrow streets and stepped alleys, and an underground chapel with frescoes said to have been painted by St Luke. The beach is the largest in Malta and offers good swimming with gently shelving sand. The north east breezes make it popular for windsurfing. Many of our villas are located in the estate of Santa Maria which enjoys great views over the bay. A good choice of shops, restaurants and entertainment can also be found in this resort.

Mellieha reviews

Mr Gray, Salisbury April 2010
We stayed at the Villa Gardenia, Malta. The villa is massive, spacious clean and well equipped. We were unfortunate enough to be caught up in the Iceland volcano travel chaos whils in Malta. James Villa's and the local rep were just amazing in assisting us, ensuring our holiday was just as perfect as can be. Massive thanks to you all
