easyJet opens new routes to Mallorca villas
Brits will be able to seek out extra opportunities to fly to Spain from next year, perhaps by staying in villas in Mallorca.
This is following easyJet's announcement that they will be operating 70 flights each week from London Southend Airport from spring 2012.
All together, eight destinations will be covered in these routes, with the well-known airline flying to five resorts across Spain.
Launching easyJet's flight plan from London Southend Airport - its newest base of operations in the UK – will be flights to Palma de Mallorca from May 1st 2012.
Paul Simmons, the UK Director of easyJet, commented: "The sandy shores, blue seas and promise of sunshine keep Brits flocking to Spain year after year for a relaxing summer break."
Meanwhile, those who are visiting Mallorca villas this summer and are arriving via the island's Son Sant Joan airport will now have the chance to sample five new El Corte Ingles shops in the travel hub.
