Why not visit the Soller Fair on a Mallorca holiday?

It has been reported the Soller Railway and the Art Train Foundation will mark the special occasion by exhibiting the works of artists who have close ties to the area.

According to the island's Daily Bulletin, paintings by Catalan artist and former Mallorca resident Joan Miro and Juli Ramis - who was born in the Soller Valley in the early 20th century - will be on show during the event.

The news provider says the festival is "one of major importance for people who live in the Soller Valley" - and you could help them celebrate.

Holiday makers staying in the romantic and picturesque Roman town of Pollensa may wish to hop in their hire car and take a short drive to Soller before returning to their picturesque Mallorca villa.
