Fans of authentic Spanish tapas may wish to book a villa in Mallorca now ahead of a culinary festival next month.
Details of the TaPalma tapas event have been announced, with the annual celebration set for October 7th-11th this year.
Visitors will be invited to join one of five trails, with each leading foodies to a trio of restaurants on the Spanish islands.
In total, more than 50 eateries have signed up to be part of TaPalma festival, all of which will offer some of the most popular dishes from the region.
However, it is not all for fun, as participating restaurants will also be competing for the Best tapa of 2010 award, handed out to the creator of the top dish of the year.
In previous years thousands of people are said to have booked a holiday in Mallorca and enjoyed the event.
Virtual Festivals last week noted another popular event, the Mallorca Rocks festival, has been scheduled to start on May 31st next year.
