Two Mallorca restaurants receive Michelin star status
Holiday makers who are looking for a fantastic night out while staying in Mallorca villas may want to check out two restaurants which have been given high praise.
The 2012 edition of the Michelin Guide has seen a pair of eateries on the popular Spanish island honoured.
Brits seeking out a trip to Port Alcudia during their holidays in Mallorca may be in for a lip-licking treat if they head to the resort's Restaurante Jardin, which specialises in Mediterranean treats.
Over in St Regis, Mardavall, a Michelin star has heightened the appeal of the Es Fum restaurant, which also serves dishes with a distinct Mediterranean twist.
Both venues join Tristan Restaurant, Es Raco d'Es Teix and Es Moli d'en Bou as eateries in Mallorca which are decorated with an illustrious Michelin star.
A trip to La Llonja should also be on the list of things to do while taking holidays to Mallorca, after Alfonso Robredo, president of the bar and restaurant association, and Esperanca Crespi, councillor for commerce of Palma de Mallorca, recently detailed that they aim to make the area more appealing this winter.
