Twentieth Century art in Mallorca
The Jean Planque Collection in Palma de Mallorca, 'Between Picasso and Dubuffet', offers a tour through 150 works of art created by 50 different artists.
Jean Planque collected art for his whole life and his collection is now open to the public and is known for its coherence between several of the major artists of the 20th century.
The exhibition showcases 130 paintings and other drawings as well as sculptures by Picasso and Dubuffet.
Other artists featured in the event are Renoir, Van Gogh and Raoul Dufy, among others.
Holiday makers can also enjoy long walks through the countryside or a relaxing day beside the villa pool.
Mallorca also has many beaches for visitors looking for a change of scene and a chance to enjoy the sunshine.
