Take a Mallorca villa holiday to explore the Son Fornes Museum
People planning to do some exploring during a Mallorca villa holiday this year might be interested in arranging a trip to Montuiri to visit the Son Fornes Museum.
The attraction offers a fascinating insight into what life may have been like on the island in the prehistoric era.
Visitors will be taken on a journey 2,000 years back in time to the Talayotic settlement of Son Fornes, with a range of artefacts and relics on display to bring the period to life.
The museum hosts a range of activities and events throughout the year to educate and entertain visitors.
As well as examining the indoor displays and exhibits, Mallorca villa guests can see the restored 18th century flour mill that houses the museum.
The building is described by the Balearic Islands tourist board as "a splendid introduction" to traditional Mallorcan architecture.
People planning to see some exhibitions during a Mallorca villa holiday this summer might be interested in visiting Marratxi, which will host its third Ceramics Biennale show until July 10th.
