Stroll along the Pine Walk on a Mallorca holiday

Families jetting off on Mallorca holidays can enjoy a stroll along the Pine Walk in the resort of Puerto Pollensa.

According to eTravel.org, this coastal stretch has been named the town's best spot for tourists in a new poll by online resort guide puertopollensa.org.uk.

Beginning at the Vora Mar supermarket, the pedestrian walkway takes holiday makers along the edge of the beach past numerous hotels and restaurants.

During the day, families can amble along the route, stopping every now and then for a relaxing dip in the Mediterranean Sea or a drink at a pavement cafe.

Lined with numerous bars, the Pine Walk is also a popular place in the evening, as there is plenty of entertainment on offer.

Ross Fraser, a spokesperson for puertopollensa.org.uk, said: "The Pine Walk has always been one of our favourite places on the whole of the island.

"There is nothing better than finishing off your day with a relaxing stroll along the Pine Walk watching the moonlight shine across the bay of Pollensa."

Holiday makers renting Mallorca villas in Puerto Pollensa could spend numerous evenings here.

The resort is also great for watersports enthusiasts, with several activities on offer along the beach, as well as boat trips to the Formentor peninsula.
