Stargazing on a Mallorca holiday
It has been reported that a mobile planetarium will reportedly tour Mallorca through 2009 and 2010 to show holiday makers the delights of space.
According to the island's Daily Bulletin, the multimedia roadshow will make its way around the island and feature early telescopes used by astronomy stars such as Galileo and Newton.
This tour aims to use state-of-the art digital technology to bring the universe to those on a Mallorca holiday.
"Part of the attractions will include highly specialised telescopes which will enable visitors to watch the sun, the moon, stars and planets," the newspaper reports.
Salvador Sanchez, director of Mallorca's observatory, says that the starry roadshow will be delighting locals and holiday makers for a whole year - and you could join in the fun.
