Soller should be explored when booking villas in Mallorca

Those occupying villas in Mallorca sometime during 2011 may want to pay a visit to the resort of Soller.

Located in the north west of the Spanish island, the destination is made up of "a town pooled like molten sugar among the citrus groves of the Golden Valley", according to This Is London writer James Stewart.

Another unique feature of Soller is that it is tucked within the highest mountains that Mallorca has to offer, the Sierra de Tramuntana.

"Soller's minor beach resort has long been where Mallorca meets Majorca; where chic beachside restaurants like Agapanto mingle with the odd tacky giftshop," Mr Stewart added.

The Spanish destination has music fans covered too, with the Mallorca Rocks festival taking place every Tuesday from May 31st.

Featuring such hit artists as Plan B, The Wombats and Tinie Tempah over the summer months, the event will be available to view for those who take a visit to Magaluf.
