See 'magical' Cala Deia on a Mallorca villa holiday
Holiday makers intending to spend plenty of time on the beach during a Mallorca villa break this year could consider Cala Deia.
The coastal spot near Soller was recommended by the Telegraph as part of the newspaper's series of articles on the best beaches in Europe.
It is located in a peaceful cove near rocky cliffs, providing a fascinating blend of picturesque and dramatic scenery.
Telegraph writer Annie Bennett said that two of the most significant reasons to visit Cala Deia during a Mallorca holiday are the beach's "fantastically clear" waters and "magical light".
The destination is highly popular among local people, as well as those who prefer pebble beaches to sand.
It has also attracted some famous faces in the past, with poet and novelist Robert Graves visiting regularly when he lived in a nearby village.
People planning Mallorca villa holidays this year might also be interested in paying a visit to Playa de Muro near Alcudia, a beach that is particularly popular with families owing to its shallow waters, according to the Telegraph.
