See 'exceptional' Valldemossa on a Mallorca holiday
Travellers planning a Mallorca villa holiday this year will have the opportunity to visit the village and municipality of Valldemossa.
The Spanish Tourist Office described the destination, which is located near the coast in the north-west, as "an exceptional spot".
One of the main attractions for visitors is the area's spectacular natural features, with the peaks of the Tramuntana mountain range on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other.
Holiday makers enjoying a Mallorca villa break can head to Valldemossa to explore its narrow streets and see its impressive stone facades and historic religious buildings, which are surrounded by patches of forest and lush vegetation.
Another highlight of the town is its bustling port, which helps to preserve its character as a down-to-earth fishing village.
Visitors can sample some of the cuisine on offer in the area, which combines locally caught fish with inland produce.
People planning a Mallorca holiday can book villas in Cala Santanyi, Felanitx and other popular destinations that offer a combination of culture, history, good food and relaxation.
