Plenty of interest in Mallorca holidays
There are a significant number of potential travellers currently considering a holiday in Mallorca, if new figures are anything to go by.
Statistics revealed by Experian show the top 50 most-searched destinations for flights, with the Spanish island finishing in tenth place.
Mallorca took 1.28 per cent of all the searched made online for flights and is in a higher slot than it was between February and April of this year when it was rated 15th most popular.
It also contributes to Spain's status as the most in-demand holiday destination of all, with other Spanish spots such as Tenerife, Alicante and Malaga also charting in the top ten.
With the figures relating to the period from May to July, the results perhaps show a holiday in Mallorca is a popular option during the summer months.
However, it is worth noting the island is blessed with a healthy supply of sun during the colder months and could be a wise choice for those seeking to top up their tan.
Independent group Barrhead Travel recently named Mallorca as the most popular holiday destination of people from Scotland over the summer.
