Picturesque buildings to behold while visiting Mallorca villas
Brits who have opted to take trips to villas in Mallorca have a couple of historical sites to seek out during their stay on the popular Spanish island.
That is because Palma de Majorca is home to both Bellver Castle and La Seu Cathedral, which are both must-see attractions for holiday makers.
Established in the fourteenth century under the tutelage of King Jaime II, Bellver Castle catches the eye due to its trio of Gothic towers, as well as a perfectly circular bailey.
Families are in for an extra special treat once they arrive at the attraction too, seeing as though its hilltop location gives visitors the opportunity to gaze over the city centre of Palma.
People seeking out La Seu Cathedral are also in for an awe-inspiring sight, with the structure sitting on Palma's picturesque waterfront.
The building is also a magnificent sight to behold, as Medieval and Renaissance styles clash in the design of the high altar, bell towers, Gothic arches and side chapels.
