Music festival on Mallorca holiday

Every July, visitors and locals alike flock to the fishing port of Cala Ratjada to enjoy the festival that has been running since 1988.

Hosted in the gardens of the Sa Torre Cega farmstead, the concert takes place in tranquil surroundings and is an annual event.

Aside from enjoying the music, visitors leaving their Mallorca holiday villa for the evening will also enjoy spending a day in the gardens which feature sculptures as well as horticulture.

Mallorca has plenty to offer holiday makers and a trip to one of the island's many beaches is bound to lure many travellers away from the comfort of their private villa pool.

If culture is one of the main reasons for a holiday to Mallorca then visitors might want to see Bellver Castle which was built in the 14th century and has been used as a military prison.
