Millionaire Mallorca marina 'soon to be approved'
The ambitious project involves diverting sea water inland in Magaluf to an area that will include the luxury marina project, a fresh home for the island's cricket club, a new lawn bowling complex and botanical gardens, according to the Mallorca Daily Bulletin.
Holiday makers staying in the peaceful C'an Picafort tend to look for a quieter holiday than anyone staying in Maglauf but if the area's redevelopment plans are passed then it could become a great place for a day trip for fans of more relaxing pursuits such as cricket, bowling and visits to botanical gardens.
Guest staying in a private villa in C'an Picafort can already take a boat trip from their own marina, while the Natural Park of Albufera has been described as a paradise for birdwatchers.
