Mallorca villas 'popular for Brits this summer'

Many holiday makers are choosing Spain for their family getaway over the next couple of months, including via flights to villas in Mallorca.

This is according to a new study conducted by easyJet, which has acknowledged that three Spanish resorts have been spotted in its top five list of the most popular destinations from the UK this summer.

Paul Simmons, the UK Director at the airline company, commented: "The sandy shores, blue seas and promise of sunshine keep Brits flocking to Spain year after year for a relaxing summer break."

He went on to advise that the gloomy weather predictions for the UK may be enough to send alarm bells ringing for people to book up holidays in Spain, such as in Mallorca villas.

There is plenty to see and do once families have arrived at the Spanish island hot spot, with a TravelBite.co.uk writer noting the destination offers "a unique perspective on life".
