Mallorca villas in Palma 'surrounded by ancient architecture'
People taking up villas in Mallorca this year have been told why they should consider paying Palma a visit.
According to Get Hampshire author Tony Green, the town offers plenty of historical value and ancient architecture among its older quarters, which he pointed out could be explored best by hiring a bike.
Furthermore, there are the seven parishes of Gothic Palma for those occupying Mallorca villas to explore too, with Mr Green advising the Cathedral of Mallorca as a highlight to visit.
He explained: "A certain Antoni Gaudi added his unique touch to the cathedral, including a canopy above the altar in the shape of a crown decorated with wheat and grapes – a symbol of the eucharist."
Meanwhile, journalist and author Anna Nicholas has recommended people take a trip to the Spanish isle, so to indulge in the "fantastically wide range of cuisine" on offer.
The culinary delights on offer to tourists taking in Palma include classy restaurants and authentic fish eateries, to name just a couple.
