Brits about to treat themselves to a getaway, perhaps to villas in Mallorca, may not be looking forward to the airport visit.
According to new research by Skyscanner, 59 per cent of people do not feel as though travel hubs cater enough for family holiday makers.
As a result, 73 per cent of respondents have admitted that the lack of facilities for the kids creates stress and dampens the getaway experience as a whole.
Of the pains that people feel in the airport, 51 per cent have admitted to long queues being the most annoying, while 29 per cent have chosen the lack of entertainment within these buildings.
Mary Porter, PR Manager at Skyscanner, commented: "Travelling with children can be a stressful experience, but improved airport facilities could vastly improve this."
Once on the plane though, Brits seeking out Mallorca villas are sure to find enough to put a smile on their faces.
