Mallorca villa foodies 'should head to Deia'
The thespian writes in his food column for the Times that the medieval village is "foodie heaven".
Winner describes Deia as "fantastic, beautiful beyond belief, not overdeveloped".
He adds: "Mountains tower above it. The food is stupendous."
Es Raco d'es Teix was singled out by the director, who pointed out that the menu was in three languages - Spanish, French and English, making it accessible to the average tourist on a day trip to the town.
Anyone who has been on a Mallorca villa holiday may already be familiar with the destination, where Robert Graves lived and wrote a number of his most famous works.
The author is buried with his wife Beryl in the churchyard on the hill in Deia - making a visit to the town one for literature aficionados as well as foodies.
