Mallorca memories 'last a lifetime'
According to travel writer Paul Fulford the mountain range offers "glorious vistas, fascinating wildlife, lush vegetation and unspoilt villages" and helped to create a holiday that he would never forget.
Witting in the Birmingham Mail, Mr Fulford enjoyed a truly memorable holiday and visited the small village of Binibona, which he described as the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Stretching for almost 90 kilometres between Andratx and Pollensa, he claimed that the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range is a place where "the silence is broken only by bird song and the sound of the wind rustling through the trees".
Holiday makers that want to visit the range could elect to stay in the old Roman town of Pollensa and walk along its traditional cobbled streets as well as the high peaks of the Serra de Tramuntana.
Visitors can get a real taste of traditional Mallorcan life with a cheap villa holiday to Pollensa, especially if they sample the vast array of food at the town's Sunday market.
